DTE ENERGY ALUMNI NETWORK
Even though you may not arrive at a DTE work location every morning, you are still part of the DTE family and always will be. DTE has developed the “Alumni Network” to create an opportunity for retirees to stay engaged long-after they’ve left their role as an active employee. Through the new Alumni Network, you can stay connected and get updates on our
company, past colleagues and current opportunities.
The DTE Alumni Network lets you stay connected with company news, fellow employees/alumni and volunteering opportunities. As a DTE alumnus, you can continue to have a positive impact on others by volunteering through Care Force. With opportunities to match your unique skillset, or group events that allow you to meet new people and stay in touch with colleagues – you can focus your energy in a way that matters to you.
Plus, there are a lot of other great perks like McCarthy Service Award grants, which means additional dollars to support nonprofit organizations that you are passionate about serving. Last year, DTE retirees contributed more than 3,500 volunteer hours in our neighboring communities. You can help us do even more.
DTE is excited to announce that in a few weeks, they’ll be distributing, via email, first edition of “Alumni Connections” a quarterly newsletter for Alumni. This is one of the many perks planned for retirees as part of the emerging network. DTE will be at the DEAR Annual Meeting to provide more information on the DTE ALUMNI NETWORK and they will have copies of the Alumni Connections available. In the meantime, those of you who have internet access may want to share the news with your fellow retirees who do not have such access.
As DTE retirees you still have access to several discounts. For example, Broadway in Detroit and Olympia Entertainment are happy
to offer DTE retirees discounts to the best musical shows in Detroit through its corporate discount program.
